EXCELLENT VICTORIAN BRIGHT CUT GOLD-FILLED CANE DATE 1887
A fine presentation cane with round L-shaped gold-filled handle with all over floral & scrollwork bright cutdecoration. Panel on left side is engraved "From Employees Wolf & Bros. To ISAAC WOLF. Dec. 25, 1887".Mounted on a beautifully carved ebony shaft with shallow relief carved floral in spiral from top to ferrule with 2matching oval landscapes at top, just below handle. Total length 34".Slight split in bottom of handle at mount, along seam, appears to have had ferrule cut off some time ago as there iswear on base, slight cut into handle from a fools testing metal, next to but on inscription.(EST 200-400)
