Was German chief of staff in the East during WW I, having fought an overwhelming victory in the Battle of Tannenberg (1914). He joined Hitler in the Munich uprising in 1923, later becoming a member of the Reichstag as a National Socialist. Collection of 13 brief TLsS and ALsS “<i>Ludendorff</i>” in German, 1p each, Munich and Hamburg, 1934-37. Untranslated. Mostly expressing appreciation for donations and gifts. Plus an ALS by his wife, <b>Matilda</b>, regarding her husband the year he died. Fine.</span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.
