Partly printed DS, as Lt Col 7th Cavalry, 1p, Jan 1, 1878, 4to, Fort Rice, Dakota Territory, approving the issue of "Three (3) Corn Brooms" to the 6th U.S. Cavalry. Also signed twice by Captain J S Polland, commanding Company A, 6th Cavalry, acknowledging receipt of the brooms. Light soiling, o/w VG. $500-750
