The front of the handle of this 5" long sterling silver souvenir spoon has a nicely detailed miner studying a rock. Under him is a ribbon that says struck it rich at last. The back of the handle has a cowboy, raising cattle, plowing, and a mine shaft. The bowl has an embossed depiction of the Elkton Mine Cripple Creek District. The bowl has some damage. It probably was bent with an attempted repair. It is, however, an unusual spoon and a highly collectible subject.
