EDWARD H. WHITE AND GUS GRISSOM: Excessively rare S.P., a 10" x 8" color photograph showing the prime and secondary crews of the disastrous Apollo 1 mission in their blue jump suits seated and standing. Very boldly signed in black ink by EDWARD H. WHITE II ("Edward H. White II") and VIRGIL I. GRISSOM ("Gus Grissom"), each upon their respective image. White, Grissom, and Roger Chaffee lost their lives on the launchpad on January 27, 1967 when an electrical fire erupted. Unable to unfasten their safety harnesses in time, they were quickly overcome by the smoke. By the time service personnel were able to open the command module, they were already dead. Fine condition. $2,000-3,000
