Watercolor on paper, featuring a farm landscape scene. Signed by the artist Edward Garbely (American, 1908-1999) on the lower right corner. 11.25 inch x 15 inch (28.5 x 38 cm). Edward Garbely was born on August 15, 1908 in Newark, New Jersey. He was best known for his harbor scenes, seascapes, landscapes. He studied at the Newark School of Fine & Industrial Art, including with John R. Grabach, A. H. Trouck, and Alexander Baranowski. He also studied with noted artist Emil Gruppe and NY artist Dorothy Koppelman. He was a member of the New Jersey Society of Painters & Sculptors, the East Orange Art Club, (showing 500 of 1431 characters). PROVENANCE: Private collection, Ohio, United State
