ROOSEVELT </span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext'>Collection of three postcards, all with social content to Mrs. Roosevelt’s friend, Anna Anderson in Rochester, NY. Picturing the “South Front” of the White House, the first is penned as First Lady Mar 9, 1909, postmarked at Oyster Bay, and signed “<i>E.K.R</i>.” On verso of Italian postcard with seated portrait of “Teodoro Roosevelt - Porto Maurizio,” ca. 1909, Edith writes “<i>This was taken just after my husband returned from Africa. We were visiting my sister in Italy</i>.” Unsigned. No date or place. A third pictures “The Parlor” of “The Roosevelt House” at their home on 20th Street, NY. Free franked on verso and signed “<i>E. K. Roosevelt,</i>” it is postmarked at Oyster Bay Jan 1937. Also included is a free franked postal cover addressed to Miss Anderson postmarked at Oyster Bay Oct 13, 1936. Both free franks are signed in full at top right margins, adding “<i>Free</i>.” All boldly penned. Light toning; overall VG.</span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.

to Signature House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire transfer
details are available upon request. West Virginia residents will pay a
sales tax of 6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA a
credit card is requested.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within seven day
providing that it comes back in the same condition. There is a
lifetime guarantee on authenticity to the original purchaser. The
item(s) must be returned with two letters denying it’s authenticity by
expert authenticators acceptable to both parties.
15. The placing of a bid shall constitute acceptance of the
preceding terms and conditions of sale.
