EASYBEATS, P.J. PROBY & ANDY STEWART SIGNED AUSTRALIAN TOUR PROGRAMS, 1965 (2)
Though P.J. Proby's time in the spotlight was very brief, his charismatic stage presence made the Texas native a concert favorite during the mid-1960's. In black ballpoint pen, he has signed the front cover of this fall 1965 program "To Rick, Best Wishes, P.J. Proby," and, additionally, an EMI publicity card. Australia's own Easybeats were together for less than a year when they signed on to the P.J. Proby tour in August '65. Within months, they were Australia's most popular rock group, generating fan hysteria known as "EasyFever." They extended their success worldwide in 1967 with the classic, "Friday On My Mind." The program is signed above their photo by Harry Vanda, George Young, Stephen Wright and Dick Diamonde as follows: "Best Wishes Little Stevie, Harry Vanda, Best Wishes George Easybeats, Best Wishes Dick Diamonde". Also included here is a program for Andy Stewart, known as Scotland's "Mr. Showbusiness." Signed in blue ballpoint pen by Stewart and Scottish support acts Sally Logan, Ian Powrie, Max Kaye, and Joe Gordon. Both programs are EX.

Estimate: $100 - 150.
