EARLY, SWISS 1900 MILITARY LUGER, ORIGINAL

CONFIGURATION, HOLSTER.
Cal. 7.65mm Luger. S# 369. Seldom offered Swiss M1900 Military Luger in its original configuration, with unrelieved frame, front sight cover, and near excellent, correctly dated holster with straps. Standard configuration M1900 with 4.75” barrel, drift adjustable front sight and “V” notched rear sight. Swiss Cross over chamber. Dished toggle with anti-rebound lock, DWM on middle link, narrow trigger, narrow grip safety, and large, first variation checkered safety. Scattered Swiss acceptance crosses in usual locations, several with nice “haloing” as usually seen in guns with original finish. Major components rust blued. Trigger, takedown lever, extractor, ejector, magazine release button are strawed. Fire blued front sight and grip screws. Finely checkered walnut panels, the left panel with ownership initials “PH”. Sight cover marked “H. LUTHY/ARMES/NEUCHATEL”. Disassembly shows factory matching numbers on all usual parts including both grips. MAGS: correct military flat button with walnut plug and metal discs. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: beautiful holster with intact stitching that is very well marked and correctly dated. Leather holster is manufacturer marked and dated "01" on obverse surface. CONDITION: approximately 90+% original rust blue showing usual high-point holster wear and fading of front and backstraps. Discreetly import marked using a fine laser etching method in an unobtrusive area. Comparable condition strawed and fire blued parts that show no evidence of enhancement. Mirror bright bore. Near excellent manual mechanics. A very nice, no-excuse, Swiss M1900 Military Luger with all the earliest features including the unrelieved frame and correct magazine, well suited for the most serious collector! PROVENANCE: From the esteemed collection of Paul Regnier, Switzerland. (20-1412/LA). CURIO. $7,000-9,000.
