EARLY ROCKER. Attributed to the Shakers. Old brown paint with traces of the original red. Scalloped rockers. Woven rush seat. The scrolled arms have tapered supports which pass through the seat rails and into the lower rungs. Four arched slats and well-turned finials. Minor splits in the rush. Seat 15 1/4"h., 42 1/2" overall.
