Probably American, ca.1800, printed cotton. Andrew Ellicott's revision of L'Enfant plan for the nation's capital including his notes. Similar to Ellicott's 1792 engraving of same. In a gilt frame, 26 1/4"h. 28 3/4"w.
Condition: Some toning and a few small areas of loss where brown ink has harmed the cloth, mainly on the borders.
