Partly printed DS, 1p, 4to, Castle Pinckney, SC, Mar 19, 1861. Completed CSA enlistment form for Richard F. Biddle, an iron molder born in Baltimore, age 28, for a period of three years. Signed by Biddle and <b>F. L. Child</b>, as “<i>Capt. CSA</i>,” 3rd SC Artillery Corps, Charleston Harbor. On verso is completed “Declaration of Recruit” signed by Biddle and docket. All manuscript portions boldly penned. Light general toning; partial fold separations with negligible paper loss; o/w VG.</span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.
5. The Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot for any
reason.
6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.

to Signature House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire transfer
details are available upon request. West Virginia residents will pay a
sales tax of 6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA a
