The Tennessee pattern was made by The United States Glass Corp of Pittsburgh, PA., circa 1899 as part of their States Pattern Series. This lid is 4" tall at the finial and 5-1/4" wide at the rim. The original pattern name was U. S. Glass No. 15,064-Tennessee. The pattern is also known as Jewel and Crescent; Jeweled Rosettes; and as Scrolls with Bull's Eye. The pattern consists of a large Bull's Eye surrounded with hobnails enclosed within two C Scrolls and seperated from the others by Chevrons. It's a beautiful pattern. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks.
