<td width="100%">
This is a beautiful tumbler in the Atlas pattern made by the Northwood Glass Co. of Indiana, PA circa 1908. This pattern is shown in "Northwood Pattern Glass in Color and Carnival" by Marion T. Hartung on page 17. I have seen another pattern called Atlas made by Northwood Glass in an apple blossom from others but I have been unable to confirm their name. This tumbler is marked on the inside with the underlined N within a circle. The glass is of excellent quality from the deeply cut vertical spears as well as from the concave surfaces of the blocks. This pattern was made in water sets; Table sets and mugs. This tumbler is 4-1/4" tall and 3-1/4" in diameter at the circular rim. The six sided base is 2-1/4" in diameter with a ribbed expanded star bottom. The top band is maidens blush and looks like rubina glass from a distance. The tumbler is in excellent condition with no chips, flakes or cracks.
