This is a beautiful reproduction Magnet and Grape pedestaled cream pitcher with applied handle. The body of the creamer is made of cobalt blue glass with a clear glass handle. This cream pitcher was made by The Imperial Glass Corp. of Bellaire, OH circa 1976 for The Museum of Modern Art. This is some of the best work to come out of the Imperial factory ever. The pitcher is 7" tall at the top of the handle, and 3-1/4" in diameter at the rim plus the spout and the handle. The foot is 3-1/4" in diameter. The bunch of grape and the leaf are frosted. The creamer is embossed with MMA on the pedestal at the base of the bowl. This pitcher is substantial with a nice heavy handle that you can use. The bowl is 3-1/2" deep. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks. The MMA had a lot of items produced for the American Bi-Centennial in the mid 70's into the 80's and all are of high quality and made in the same manner as the originals. The original of this pattern was made by The Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. of Sandwich, MA circa 1860.
