This is a great green glass toothpick holder in the Daisy & Button pattern. It is shown in an 1892 catalog from The United States Glass Corp. as being made at Factory A (Adams & Co.). Shown in 1000 Toothpick Holders by The National Toothpick Holders Collectors Society on page 106. The original name was "Skuttle". The pattern was also made Bryce Brothers Glass Co. and Doyle & Company, all of Pittsburgh, PA circa 1880's. And also made by Hobbs, Brockunier & Company of Wheeling, West Virginia circa 1885. This coal skuttle shaped tooth pick holder has the original metal bail handle. The glass is emerald or apple green. It is 2-1/4" tall at the spout, 2" wide and 3-1/4" long, all at the rim. The body is in the Daisy & Button pattern while the pettycoat skirt bottom foot is in a fine cut pattern. This bottom ring is circular and 1-3/4" in diameter. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks.
