This is a beautiful flint glass gentleman's goblet of the 1850s in the New England Pineapple pattern that is traditionally attributed to The New England Glass Co. of Cambridge, MA circa 1855-1870. The pattern is also attributed to the Boston and Sandwich Glass Co. The goblet rings with a bell tone when lightly tapped. The gentleman's goblet measures 6-1/4" tall by 3-1/4" in diameter at the rim. The foot is 3-1/8" in diameter and shows good honest wear. The very clear glass is heavy and weighs over one pound. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks.
