The Sawtooth pattern was made by many glass companies, including The Bryce Group (Bryce, Richards; Bryce, Walker; Bryce Brothers) all of Pittsburgh, PA, James, B Lyon & Co; McKee & Brothers; Gillinder & Sons; Union Glass Co; and The United States Glass Co. This spoon holder was made circa 1870's in flint glass and is 5-3/8" tall and 3-1/4" in diameter at the rim and the foot is 3" in diameter. There are no chips, flakes or cracks in this beautiful spoon holder. I also have a spill listed in this pattern. A "Spill" by the way is a slip of wood or a strip of rolled paper that was used to light the whale oil or kerosene oil lamps of the day. The spill is different, usually, by having a flat bottom above the stemmed foot whereas a spoon holder will be rounded.
