The Daisy and Button with Crossbars pattern was made by the Richards & Hartley Glass Co. of Tarentum, PA circa 1885. The pattern was continued by The United States Glass Co. after the merger of 1891. The original name of the pattern was Richards & Hartley No. 99, Mikado. It is also known as Daisy and Thumbprint Crossbar; Daisy and Button with Crossbar and Thumbprint; and as Daisy with Crossbar. This amber 3 pices set consists of one master berry bowl or compote that is 3-3/4" tall and 8" in diameter. The pedestal foot is 4" in diameter and it does have a 1/4" flake on the outside bottom of the foot. It is hard to see and looks like part of the pattern. Each of the two bowls are 2-3/4" tall and 4" in diameter. The pedestal foot here is 2-1/2" in diameter. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no other chips, flakes or cracks.
