This Early American Pressed Glass pedestal berry bowl or compote is in the Cupid & Venus pattern and was made by the Richards and Hartley Flint Glass Co. circa 1875 - 1884. It is also known as the Guardian Angel pattern. It measures 8 3/4" diameter and 4" tall. It has a chip that is about 1/4" on the top flat part of the scalloped edge and some minor roughness or chipping along the inside edge.
