<td width="100%">
This is a beautiful little individual sugar, or Cafe Sugar, in the Colorado pattern made by The United States Glass Corp. of Pittsburgh, PA circa 1899. The original name of this States pattern series was U. S. Glass No. 15,057-Colorado. The pattern is also known as Jewel and as Lacy Medallion. It was made into the 1920's and alot of it was used as souvenir ware. This one however, is not engraved or marked as a souvenir. It measures 2-3/4" tall and 2-3/4" wide at the beaded rim and sits on three medallion feet. The piece was decorated with gold but most is gone from the rim and about 80% remains on the feet. This is classified as an open sugar but could also be used as a toothpick holder or match holder. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks.
