A single Early American Pattern Glass EAPG pedestal cake stand, attributed to Adams & Co. and dating to the late 19th century (circa 1880s-1890s). The pattern is widely known as Good Luck, Horseshoe, or Prayer Rug. The piece is crafted from clear molded or pressed glass, featuring a round, shallow plate supported by a tapered columnar stem rising from a wide, domed foot. The foot is decorated with extensive vertical fluting or ribbing. The plate features a beaded or prunted rim and is elaborately decorated on the top surface with molded geometric and stylized motifs, including a central starburst floret. The decoration incorporates rectangular cartouches and repeating dots and scrolling elements, consistent with the Good Luck pattern which often features horseshoe and anchor motifs. This piece shows characteristics of the Early American Pattern Glass Adams & Co Horseshoe cake stand style. No manufacturer's marks or visible text are present.
