<td width="100%">
This is a very nice little opal or milk glass spoon holder in the Lily pattern made by The Atterbury Glass Co. of Pittsburgh, PA circa 1881. The pattern is also known as Sunflower. This spooner is 4-3/4" tall and 4" in diameter at the rim. The skirted base is 3" in diameter. Just to show the difference, the Sugar is 4-1/4" tall and 4-1/2" in diameter and the base is 3-1/2" in diameter. The spooners are usually smaller in diameter than the sugars. The pattern consists of 12 panels around the body. The six on top show Sunflowers and the six on the bottom show Lily of the Valley. The spooner is in excellent condition with no chips, flakes or cracks.
