The Cathedral pattern was made by Bryce Brothers Glass Co. of Pittsburgh, PA circa 1885. The pattern was continued by The United States Glass Co. after their merger of 1891. The original name of this pattern was Orion and it is also known as Waffle and Fine Cut. This beautiful amber open compote is 6-1/4" tall and 9-1/2" in diameter. The foot is 4-1/4" in diameter. There are some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks.
