The revolver shows faint traces of original blue drifting to a gray brown patina. Theedges are fairly crisp with just some minor beginning light surface pitting and erosion. The barrel address is sharp. There are large B marks on barrel frame and trigger guard. There is an outline and faint cartouche onthe left grip. There are some small chips and losses on the edges of the grips but grips remain at least very good. The action is good and interior is also good. A better-than-average Civil War era WhitneyNavy, serial number 16756. Est.: $800-$1,600.
