Boone studied art at the Smith School of Art and the Chicago Art Institute. Upon graduation he moved to Montana and painted with Charles M. Russell. Due to failing health he moved in 1927 to the dryer climate of El Paso, where he made his home until his death. He was one of the founders of the annual Sun Carnival Art Exhibition, and the Far Southwest Artists Association, organizations instrumental in the development of early El Paso art.<B>Condition Report:</B> Relined. Scattered inpainting, mainly in sky.
