<B>E. E. "Doc" Smith. </B></I><B><I>Children of the Lens.</B></I></B></I> [N.p.: n.d.]. <BR>Holograph manuscript. Large quarto (10.9375 x 8.4375 inches). 228, [14] numbered pages. Written in pencil primarily on rectos only on yellow paper (pages 221-228 are written in ink). Pages 59-60 are typescript (ribbon copy), pages 78-88 are written in pencil on smaller ruled paper, and the final fourteen pages ("CHAPTER XXVII, The Power of Love") are typescript (ribbon copy) on yellow paper with three holes punched in the left margin, and are lettered "a"-"n."<BR><BR>Chemised in a burgundy cloth clamshell case with black leather spine label decoratively stamped and lettered in ink.<BR><BR><I>Children of the Lens, </B></I>the sixth and concluding volume of the Lensman series, was first published serially in <I>Astounding Science-Fiction,</B></I> November-December 1947 and January-February 1948.
