This is an original early E.A. Prescott Star Model No. 41 .41 Rimfire five shot revolver from circa 1870's. The Post Civil War revolver shows a nickel finish brass frame with walnut grips and spur trigger. The revolver is marked across the top, "(star) No. 41". The handgun shows some loss to the nickel on the cylinder and octagon 2.5" barrel, but otherwise appears to be in good condition for its age. Trigger and hammer appear to function well. Exceedingly rare early revolver. Indian Wars US Cavalry Officers private purchase boot or pocket pistol. The revolver is manufactured in the 1870's, pre-1898 and NO FFL is required.
