A 1939 Currency Commission of Ireland one pound ‘short snorter’ banknote, 6 x 3.25, signed vertically on the front and back in ballpoint and fountain pen by a number of political dignitaries, highlighted by the presence of Dwight D. Eisenhower, Omar Bradley, and Eleanor Roosevelt. Other signers include Stephen Early (White House press secretary), Frank Knox (Secretary of the Navy), Harry C. Butcher (Naval Aide to General Eisenhower), William Alexander Julian (Treasurer of the United States), Colonel George S. Clarke, Owen Dixon (Chief Justice of Australia), and more. In fine condition, with expected signs of use.
