Glossy 7.75 x 10 US Army Signal Corps portrait of Ike in uniform as a five-star general, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Frank D. Parent—My old football coach & good friend! Dwight D. Eisenhower.” In very good condition, with surface impressions, trimmed edges, and all writing light but legible. Parent was a Los Angeles County municipal court judge who coached Eisenhower on championship football and baseball teams at Abilene High School in Kansas between 1905 and 1909.
