TLS signed “Ike,” one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, March 3, 1967. Letter to his friend Mrs. Mollie Cullum, in full: "A most Happy Birthday and many, many more of them. May the years ahead be filled with good health and happiness for you." Eisenhower adds a handwritten postscript: "Many thanks for the copy of 'Sports Illustrated' with the Arnie Story. You are very kind—and I’ll look forward to getting the other installments. D." In fine condition, with some scattered small stains. Mollie Cullum was a wealthy golfing enthusiast and personal friend to the Eisenhowers, whom often vacationed at Cullum's California desert home. Cullum is mentioned in the biography of Arnold Palmer, the "Arnie" referenced in the letter, and one of Ike's favorite golfers.
