In part: “Admiral McIntire has told me of your generous offer to donate in the memory of the late Colonel John N. Smith, Jr., former Director of the Institute for the Crippled and Disabled, the 1953 President’s Trophy for the most outstanding contribution in the field of employment of the handicapped. It would mean a great deal to me if you could arrange to take part in the presentation ceremony.” Double matted and framed with an engraved portrait to an overall size of 20.75 x 16. In fine condition, with some mild toning and pencil remnants to bottom.
