In part: “Thank you very much indeed for the handsome, framed certificate designating Mrs. Eisenhower and me as Life Members in the Union Mills Homestead Foundation. We are indeed complimented by the action of the Foundation in conferring this membership on us. Also, I appreciate the booklet you presented to me on General Meade’s planned defense line.” In very good condition, with mild creasing, wrinkling, spots of staining, several surface impressions, and an area of thin paper at the top of the page. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
