In full: “I regret that I omitted to enclose in my last letter to you the shoulder flash you desired. The one I am enclosing is one I wore in the North African Campaign.” Creasing, a horizontal fold touching the base of his signature, and a tiny chip at the top of the page, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by the referenced shoulder patch. Highly desirable World War II artifact with superlative provenance from Ike himself.
