Eisenhower: Signed </B></I><B><I>Crusade in Europe</B></I></B></I> (New York: Doubleday and Company, Inc., 1948), first edition, 559 pages, illustrated, tan-cloth binding with tan-and-black spine and gold lettering, illustrated endpapers, 8vo (8.75” x 6”). Following his success as Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force in World War II, Dwight Eisenhower wrote this military memoir, considered one of the finest ever published. The front endpaper includes an attached letter from Ike to “Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force!” The letter is signed <I>“Dwight D. Eisenhower” </B></I>at the top.
