From artist Cay Schoodt, this is a work depicting three cups. Created with oil on canvas, using hues of yellows, orange, turquoise and darker tone to black. Signed ?Cay-S? in turquoise toned paint for authenticity. Art measures 13-1/2? x 10-1/2? inside. The wood frame measures 19? x 15? approximately. Wire has been mounted on the back of the frame, ready to be hung on the wall. On the back is a note of authenticiy and a short bio about the artist. About artist Cay Schoodt: Cay Schoodt was born on the Dutch-German border in 1929. After the war, he studied in Paris for a time, and became interested in Still Life paintings, and in particular, the ?Variations on a Theme? views of similar objects created in differing ways. His work is painstaking and thoughful, and his seemingly simple results take much careful work to produce. Cay came from Europe in the late 1930's , and these were brought over from Holland pre WW2. Would make a great addition to your home, with it's pleasing colors and theme. Note - The frames have some separation due to age and may need to be repaired or replaced.
