Duke of Wellington Autograph Letter Signed in the Third Person. One page, 4.5” x 7.25”, London, July 29, 1844, to a “Dr. Clay”, regarding a matter of naval ordnance, toned, with mounting remnants on the verso, a few pinprick holes, else near fine. The Duke of Wellington writes in a hand that is quite difficult to decipher but the gist of the letter is to inform Dr. Clay of the proper chain of command for suggesting ideas for naval ordnance.

Shipping: Flat Material, Small (view shipping information)
