Title is Midnight Cowboy. 30" by 40" unframed, 32" by 42" framed. Oil on Canvas. Duke Beardsley (Born 1969) is active/lives in Colorado. Duke Beardsley is known for Western genre and tonal landscape painting. A fifth generation Coloradan, Duke Beardsley has been drawing and painting the West for as long as he can remember. An avid outdoorsman, horseman, and fly fisherman, he paints what he loves. Duke and his wife now live and work in Denver. Duke Beardsley graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont with a BA in Art History and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California with a BFA in Illustration. He received the 2001 People's Choice Award in the Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming. He was featured in the September 2001 issue of Southwest Art magazine in the article 21 Under 31. Among those collecting his work are The Forbes Collection, UMB Banks, and Invesco.
