Featured in this lot is this Duffner & Kimberly Art Nouveau lamp circa 1906. The lamp is wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze, and lead lined stained glass that shows patterns to the lamp shade that shows beige with some vine looking decoration and a darker complexion to the border of the lamp. The base shows an Art Nouveau decoration that shows vines up the stem and floral decoration to the base and shows four lights included on the lamp. Duffner & Kimberly was a New York City company which produced leaded glass and bronze lamps around the same time as Louis Comfort Tiffany, Tiffany Studios. The Duffner & Kimberly Company was formed in December 1905, with a capital outlay of $350,000. The firm introduced its first lamps in 1906. The condition of this lamp and shade shows well preserved stature that shows some patina and wear to the base but otherwise shows no obvious signs of damage to the lamp itself. The measurements of this lamp is 31" x 21" x 21". The approximate collective weight of this lamp is 29lb 16oz.
