Founding member of the Allman Brothers Band and session musician regarded as one of the most masterful and influential guitarists in rock history (1946–1971). He was killed in a motorcycle accident at the age of 24. Vintage ballpoint signature, “Duane Allman,” on an off-white 3.5 x 2.75 lightly-lined slip. In fine condition. Accompanied by an original ticket from a December 1, 1970, concert by Derek and the Dominos, Eric Clapton, and others, including Allman, at the Curtis Hixon Hall in Tampa, Florida. One of rock and roll’s true rarities.
