Fantastic DS, five pages, 8 x 11.5, July 8, 1968. Contract agreement between Apple Corps Limited and musical artist "Drew and Dye" for a period of three years, during which time the latter agree to record a "minimum of twelve (12) satisfactory 45 RPM single record sides." Signed at the conclusion by Keith Drewett and Peter Dymond. In fine condition, with a few light stains on the first page. While on a trip to London to audition for a music publisher, Drewett and Dymond spotted Paul McCartney standing outside of the Apple Boutique. They jumped out of the cab and approached McCartney, asking him to hear their music and offer them his opinion. McCartney agreed and the duo played a private concert for the Beatles bassist inside the empty boutique. Impressed by the six songs, McCartney sent them a letter soon thereafter telling them that he would be in touch. On August 12, a month after signing this contract, Drew and Dy recorded a session at Trident Studios with McCartney playing guitar and adding vocal harmonies.
