Dracula (Realart 1951). Half Sheet (22 X 28 ). Bram St Dracula (Realart, 1951).
Dracula (Realart, 1951). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B. Bram Stoker's novel "officially" made it to the big screen when Universal purchased the rights to the legendary tale of "Dracula." Bela Lugosi, who played the part on stage, petitioned for the part and won after several other actors were considered. The casting made history and Lugosi shall forever be remembered as the undead Count. This reissue half sheet from the 1951 release is a much more affordable option than the original release posters, as those command thousands of dollars. Prior to paper backing, this poster was folded and had many small tears around the edges. There were a few more tears that went into the art including one by the skull in the bottom corner, another that went almost into the word "Scary!" and lastly another in the upper right corner that went through the word "screen." There were also some crimps within the image, however, all of these minor problems have been professionally restored. Fine/Very Fine on Paper.
