Stoneware pitcher produced by Doulton Lambeth and decorated by artist Hannah Barlow. This piece features a hand-incised continuous hunting scene depicting three foxes pursuing two rabbits through a wooded landscape. Above and below the central illustration are bands of applied rosette borders in relief with blue glaze accents. The upper portion of the pitcher is decorated with scrolling foliate motifs in brown, ochre, and cobalt blue, highlighting the intricate craftsmanship typical of Lambeth studio work. The flared spout and tall, curved handle are glazed in a glossy deep brown. Marked with the "Doulton Lambeth England" impressed stamp. Artist's initials are feature on the underside.
