A. 'Harry' Erickson who in 1911 was the first person to take a photo from an airplane - Erickson also took the photo of the 'Spirit of St Louis' April 1927 showing the people who helped build it, of which I was one - DC.</B></I>” <B>2) Event cover,</B></I> 6.5' x 3.5”, postmarked Detroit, January 30, 1939, commemorating Corrigan's visit, signed “<I>Douglas Corrigan/3-14-39.</B></I>” <B>3) 1938 Official Los Angeles Souvenir Program</B></I> welcoming “Wrong Way” Corrigan, 8 pages, 8.5” x 11”, Not signed. On July 17, 1938, aviator Douglas Corrigan left Floyd Bennett Airfield in Brooklyn, NY on a flight to Los Angeles but “accidentally” went the wrong way. Twenty-eight hours and 13 minutes later, he landed outside Dublin, Ireland. Corrigan returned home to a hero's welcome.
