General Douglas MacArthur Signed Book: The Defender. (Fort Meade, Maryland: Citizens' Military Training Camp, 1926), 4to, blue gilt-embossed boards, no dust jacket, likely as issued. Highly illustrated. An interesting piece of post-WWI militaria that seems pedestrian until you turn to the half-title page and see General Douglas MacArthur's signature. This copy was from his personal library and signed boldly by him "Douglas MacArthur." A note on the (corner-clipped) front free endpaper indicates that this copy is "from the General's library." Very Good, with spine edges bumped and some wear to the covers. The exemplary autograph and the ownership itself make this, in fact, a pretty special item.
