In full: "Earl Haig is much flattered, that there are 'eight' of Mr. S. D. Green's pupils who have selected him as one whose career is likely to help them to become better citizens in the business world.—In reply to their request for a message the Field Marshal would like to remind them that 'Honesty is the best policy'!"
