Double-barrel pinfire shotgun circa 1860’s to 70’s. Gold inlaid “A” and “E” “Cohen” on rib with fine line flush gold inlays on locks and action. The gun measures 47-1/2” overall, with 31” barrels, 16ga pinfire. The barrelsshow 90-95% original tobacco brown finish with near all of its Damascus pattern. Just some slight normal aging. The locks and mounts show grey case hardening, just slightly dulling and beginning age. Therelease lever shows 90% bright robin’s egg blue with fancy gold inlay. The checkered wood stocks show a nice burl wood grain and are in very good condition. The action is tight, the bores are bright. The originalsteel buttplate is retained and also shows matching gold line inlay. A very high quality gun in its day, which remains in good to very good condition. Est: $1,250 - $2,500
