Double barrel flintlock pocket pistol of British origin with locks signed “Tuite”. The pistol shows an old of the period restock possibly accomplished in America during the early 19th century. The pistol measures 7 ¼” overall with 25/8” barrels. The actions and both locks are broken but retaining original hammers, frizzens and small parts. The old restock is in good condition with some minor losses and slight imperfections. The original trigger guard wasretained when restocked and altered to fit this stock. Double barrel flintlock pistols are extremely scarce and date of manufacture originally 1780 to about 1810. Est.: $600-$1200
