Double-action pinfire multi-shot oddity revolver, 7.65mm pinfire, 4-3/4” superposed barrels, 20-shot cylinder, blue finish, varnish wood grips, serial #840 on left side of breech of barrel. Signed in fancy script letters E. LeFecheau Bte A Paris” The barrel and cylinder show 40-60% blue evenly drifting and toning to a grayish brown, some minor erosion and pinprick pitting. The rear portion of the frame shows mottled traces of case hardening, the bottom portion of the frame shows some ligh cleaning long ago, now going back to patina. The varnish wood grips are very good with 60-70% varnish, some minor marks and wear at the edges. The action is working but not quite revolving properly and is out of time. The front sight is missing. The ejector rod and small parts are all retained. A good example of a 20-shot needing slight repair to the action and an easily restorable front sight. From the Robert Petersen Collection. Est: $1,000 - $2,000
