Manufactured in 1971 in Belgium, this rifle features a blue barrel manufactured without sights and French grey finish on the remaining parts. The top of the receiver is equipped with a Redfield 4x 1" tube scope mounted on a Redfield base. The follower and bolt are polished with a jeweled extractor, and the trigger is gold washed. The front receiver ring is engraved with a bugling elk on the left side, running pronghorn antelope on the right side and the remainder of the action is floral leaf and punch dot engraved. The right side of the receiver is signed "VANDERSMISSER". The hinged floor plate engraved with a deer in a wooded scene with floral leaf engraving below and on the attaching metal and signed "A MARECHAL" below the deer. The trigger guard is engraved with a bear with a floral leaf pattern above and below. There is a two inch wedge of floral leaf engraving on the breech end of the barrel sides. The screw heads and stock bolts are also engraved with a leaf design. The stock is extra fancy select walnut with a high gloss finish, fine line checkering and floral and punch dot hand carving on the forearm and grip area, contrasting forend and grip cap with a diamond shaped brass inset on the grip cap, raised comb, cheekpiece, plastic Browning buttplate and sling swivel studs. Complete with a browning hard case with a brown leather sling, with quick release swivels.

Condition: Excellent 99% plus. The rifle retains virtually all of the original blue and French grey finishes remaining with only light handling marks overall. The stock is excellent with a few scattered minor dings and handling marks, with very crisp checkering. The scope is excellent with clear optics. Mechanically excellent.
